Alborada

A small team, a big bridge

Alborada is a non-profit corporation based in Medellín. We connect people who want to help with the social initiatives already doing the work, and we do it openly: here you will see who we are, who we work with and where every peso goes.

It began before it had a name

In December 2022, on a hillside in Bello Oriente, a different kind of Christmas brought the neighborhood's children together. Alborada did not exist yet, only the dream of giving them a day to play, learn and celebrate.

That day was called Mágica Navidad and it came back every year, from one comuna to the next. Today we are a corporation with a team, partners and an event that grew from a school to an entire neighborhood.
